TRAINING

We have been conducting user training courses for individuals and teams for many years and have received very good feedback. We distinguish between seminars for the MIT-SCAN2-BT device for measuring dowel positions, and the MIT-SCAN-T3 device for measuring pavement layer thickness. The seminars are designed to keep staff at road authorities, contractors and construction supervising partners from practice informed about the measurement systems, new features (software and firmware) as well as amendments in regulations. Moreover, we believe that they provide participants a great opportunity to discuss opinions and experiences with each other and with us.

THICKNESS MEASUREMENT TRAINING

Our seminars have varying points of focus based on the differing areas of responsibility of participants.
The practical seminar “Measuring correctly” addresses electromagnetic thickness measurement within the context of the new TP D-StB 12. This event is intended for our practice partners at road authorities, for contractors and for staff members at engineering offices.

Our user training courses target field surveyors, construction supervisors and materials inspectors who already have some experience working with the MIT-SCAN-T2. This training course, for example, goes into the details of menu navigation, provides background information on pulse induction technology and the measurement procedure, explains reflector validation and focuses on MIT data transfer software and developments related to the new TP D-StB 12. All participants are delivered training materials and receive a certificate of attendance.
